Look for Them

The mathematical concepts of shapes, sizes and colors are introduced as students explore a local playground. As the students identify attributes of objects, they also learn about flat and three-dimensional shapes, prepositions, and art materials such as clay, tissue paper and paint. This book includes a discovery activity, an art connection, and mathematical vocabulary introduction.
