Gr 1-3-Nerves are in evidence as a talent show looms, but then a mystery arises. Miss Mackle's engagement ring is missing a diamond! Where could it be? Since Harry's skill is sleuthing, he is determined to solve the mystery for his entry in the talent show. Doug acts as Watson, recording his friend's methods. This is another enjoyable easy chapter story by Kline, who knows her audience well. Johnny Heller voices Doug's observations with a smile in his voice, giving listeners the sense that they're hearing the tale from a friend. This is a solid production that will please fans of the series.-Teresa Bateman, Brigadoon Elementary, Federal Way, WA
